Sports Vision |
Trendex's Sports
Vision Program is Canada’s only continuous consumer sporting goods purchase tracking study.
The program began in 1995 and separately tracks the consumer’s
purchases of sporting goods equipment, sports footwear, and sports apparel.
The program’s information is based on questionnaires sent to
different samples of 10,000 nationally representative Canadian households
twice a year. On average
seventy-two percent of the questionnaires are returned from each mailing.
For each
purchase made the following information is collected:

The purchase information that is collected is statistically adjusted and projected to be representative of the retail purchases of Canada’s 30 million individuals. (Note no team sales, U.S. or tourist purchases are included in the database.)
